It's my last elopement post before I take a maternity leave! *tear* But I'm super excited that my last elopement was with the amazing couple of Lisanne & Roger. I can't say enough about this fun-loving, SO in love with each other couple. They are Mid-Century furniture dealers from Detroit who are also cat people. It's like it was fate that we were put together on their wedding day :)
They were wed at the amazing Neon Museum, affectionately known as the "Neon Boneyard". I met them for their quick ceremony, and although we only had an hour together that day, I feel as if I was able to get to know Lisanne & Roger well as a couple through their genuine interactions with each other and their small group of close friends and family that attended their wedding weekend in Las Vegas. Here are some of my favorites from their Neon Boneyard wedding!

It was the afternoon on New Years Eve. There was snow in the forecast, which is unheard of in Las Vegas, but I was excited at the possibility. Pyng and Seth were coming to the desert for their elopement to escape the cold and snow of the Boston area so I don't think they were as thrilled as I was at the possibility! It never did end up snowing that day, but it was cold, around freezing in fact! Pyng and Seth definitely rolled with it though and our three hour excursion in the cold was really fun.
The couple has been dating since 1998 and decided that it was time to get married. So they snuck away to Las Vegas without telling anyone about their secret elopement. Their ceremony was just the two of them at the Neon Museum and it was the perfect backdrop for this intimate event. When our time was up at the museum, we headed to the Arts District for a few more photos.

Hello! I'm here on a Monday evening to show you some images so full of love and admiration that they are infectious.
Jess and Dan are a couple from Australia who have been married for 5 years. They had a traditional wedding back in Oz so they decided to have a little fun with their 5 year vow renewal. And by "fun", I mean "Elvis". They had a little "Elvis" with their 5 year vow renewal! I'll get back to that in just a bit.
I met Jess and Dan in front of the Bellagio to take in some amazing views of the fountains and the strip. When they walked up to me, I was pretty amazed by their outfits... you see, they purchased them at a thrift store (known to Aussies as "op shops") and, as my nephew so perfectly put it, "they look like a King and Queen!". Now, I'm not sure if they planned that, exactly, but you will see what my nephew means below. *cough* *coattails* *cough*
While at the Bellagio, they did a little reverse-reanactment of their proposal this time with Jess down on one knee presenting Dan with a watch she had gifted him for the occasion. This couple is so loving and playful, they just have fun with everything!
Soon, the hired car picked us up and took us to Graceland Chapel in Old Vegas for Elvis to renew their vows. Unfortunately, the Chapel wouldn't allow outside photography. You'll have to take my word for it, it was so gloriously, fun, funny, cheesy, and a just plain awesome experience for Jess and Dan (and even me, who was able to witness the event). The Chapel did allow us to take photos outside so you will see a much more mild portion of our time at the Graceland Chapel below.
After the Chapel, we headed to the Las Vegas Arts District for Jess and Dan to say some more personal vows to one another and for some more photos! We even had a few extra minutes at the very end to stop by the Fremont Street Experience. Here are some of my favorites from Jess & Dan's vow renewal. It was so great to meet you Jess & Dan! Congrats on your 5 year anniversary.
