Chelsea Robbins is a photographer in Las Vegas, just like me. She's passionate about love, life, family, and photography... just like me. So it's not a surprise that her and I hit it off immediately while meeting for a drink on a hot Las Vegas summer day a while ago. We have similar attitudes about all of the above mentioned things and I can't even tell you how fortunate I feel to have met her before she makes the move with her husband and two (adorable) kids from Vegas to Denver in the very very near future. As much as I'm personally going to miss this incredible, insightful, and beautiful (inside & out) woman, I'm really excited for her and her family to start out on a new adventure in Denver! Chelsea, her husband Dustin, and their children, Conrad & Elliotte, are in the middle of packing up their lives for the move but found a little time yesterday to take some family photos with me. They wanted a photo session in their favorite locations of their every-day-Vegas-lives. We started out in their house where they filled their now-empty living room with colorful balloons and a vintage couch (found on Craigslist, of course) for some final photos in the house they're leaving behind so many beautiful memories in. Then we headed to their favorite local coffee shop, Grouchy John's. This delicious and really cute coffee shop started out in a truck! (yeah, like a food-truck, but for coffee) All of the workers knew the family by name and some even came out to where we were sitting to wish them safe travels on their move. Local businesses are the greatest!
This is where I normally say, "here are a few of my favorites from their session"... Well, let me just tell you, I had A LOT of favorites from their session. So I'm including almost 50 of their photos on this blog. Is that too many photos to blog??? Probably, but I don't care. These photos NEED to be seen! And trust me, you're going to want to look at them all. So... here are a lot of photos from their "A-Day-In-The-Life" session yesterday:
Best of luck in Denver, Robbins family! You will be missed.
