> Calgary, Alberta Wedding Photography - Part 1

Hey Everyone! I'm really excited about this wedding blog post because I've known the bride for over 12 years!  Victoria and I went to Middle School and High School together in Wisconsin.  After college, she moved to Canada with her dual citizenship.

Victoria, or as I've always known her, "Vikky", met Kelly at church camp years ago.  They've had an on-again, off-again relationship and eventually realized they just couldn't live without each other!  Vikky is one of the most genuine, caring, and fun-loving people I've ever met.  I can't remember a day where she didn't have a smile on her face:)  I only just met Kelly on their wedding day, but from what I've seen, I can tell that he is very much the same as Vikky.  They seem to compliment each other well and are definitely head over heels for each other!

Not only was this my first Canadian wedding, but it was also my first time in Canada ever.  Even though it snowed half the time... in the middle of April... I really liked Calgary!  Ha.

Here are some of my favorite shots of details, the girls getting ready, and from the ceremony.

After the ceremony, we headed to an amazing park on the edge of downtown Calgary for some more photos.  I'll be blogging about them soon so stay tuned!

Thanks for reading!

> Artisan Hotel Las Vegas Wedding Photography

Hey Everyone! On April 1st, I photographed Casey and Tommy's wedding at the Artisan Boutique Hotel in Las Vegas!  You may remember this cute couple from their engagement photos a little while ago in the Arts District.

The couple and the wedding party got ready at Trump tower just down the road.  One of my favorite parts of photographing a wedding is the detail shots from getting ready.  This blog is all about the details!  Casey and Tommy had some pretty amazing details from the feathers on her shoes to the custom text on his cufflinks.  They even hired someone to come professionally shave the guys at the hotel!    Here are some of my favorite details from before the ceremony:

That's all for now!  I'm heading to Canada tomorrow for about a week and I'll post another blog from this wedding's beautiful ceremony when I'm back.

Thanks for reading:)

Las Vegas Family Photography | Parker Wynia | 3 months old

Hey Everyone! Todays blog has some familiar faces in it!  These photos are of 3 month old Parker.  I took his Newborn photos a few months ago, you can see that blog here.  I also photographed his parents wedding!  You can see a blog post from their wedding here.

Jenny and Nick have decided to have photos taken of little Parker about every 3 months so we can put together an album of his first year after his Birthday!  It's a really great idea and if you are interested in doing the same for your little one on the way, send me an email for info!

I'm really excited to be a part of Parkers first year and be able to see him grow up in front of my camera.  We are going to focus on milestones that he crosses as he grows up.  At this age, he was able to lift his head up on his own and he loves to lean back and put both his hand behind his head (this is so cute).  Here are some of my favorites from his 3 month session.

Here's Parker lifting his head up on his own while his Dad holds him.

Mom and Dad holding him.  See how he has his arms behind his head?  SO CUTE!  Just loungin'.

Loungin' up close.

We used Jenny and Nick's wedding rings in Parkers Newborn session and decided to use them again to try and show scale of his growth.

This is a super cute idea that Jenny had with the family on the bed with Jenny and Nick in the background.  LOVE this one!

That's all I have for now!  Such a great family and I'm so happy to be a part of so many exciting times in their lives :)  Watch for another Parker blog in 3 months!

Thanks for reading!
