> Las Vegas Wedding Photography

Nicola and Thomas came to Las Vegas from London last weekend to get married!  As if that's not exciting enough... they didn't tell anyone else about it!!!  They've been together for many years and have been engaged for about a year.  When wedding planning was becoming too complicated and frustrating, they said - "Let's just go do it in Vegas!" and started making plans in secret for their nuptials.  I'm crossing my fingers that it's safe to post this by now and that they've told everyone! They went to the Graceland Chapel for their ceremony and then met me for a quick photo session right after.  We first met in the Las Vegas Arts District.  I LOVE this location for photos because there are so many great graffiti walls everywhere, and it's usually pretty deserted so we had the area all to ourselves.

To switch it up a little bit, we then headed to Old Las Vegas for some photos under the Las Vegas lights at twilight.  Nicola and Thomas were greeted with cheers and congratulations while we made our way through the crowd!  I love some of the photos of their reactions to what people were saying to them along the way!

Here are some of my favorites from our time together on their wedding day!

> Las Vegas Newborn Photography

On 10.10.10, I photographed Kristen and Ivan's wedding at their house in Henderson.  Two and a half years later, I had the pleasure of photographing their 3 week old Daughter in that same location!  Little Annabel Laura is such a sweet, happy, and gorgeous baby.  Kristen and Ivan are first time parents, but you would never know it.  They seemed to have things pretty figured out so far and just kind of rolled with the punches.  They really helped each other out and had each others backs when it was time for feeding, changing, or even cleaning "something" up.  It was really great to see and makes me hope it really is as easy as they made it look! Here are some of my favorites from Annabel's Newborn session!

> Las Vegas Family Photos at the Smith Center

I've been photographing Parker every few months of his first year!  He's already one year old (actually, we were a little late on this session due to me being sick, Parker being sick, work schedules, etc.)  But we were finally able get these photos taken!  We decided to take them at The Smith Center by Tim Bavington's colorful sculpture which is beautiful and really fun for photos.  It ended up being so so cold on Monday so our 30 minute session only lasted about 20 minutes, but got some really great photos in that amount of time because Parker was in a pretty good mood!   Maybe he's just getting used to me and my camera!

Here are some of my favorites from their session at the Smith Center sculpture! Las Vegas fun family photosLas Vegas family photographyThe Smith Center Las VegasHenderson Nevada family photographyLas Vegas family photographyHenderson family photographyThanks for reading!!
