> Las Vegas Wedding Photography

Nicola and Thomas came to Las Vegas from London last weekend to get married!  As if that's not exciting enough... they didn't tell anyone else about it!!!  They've been together for many years and have been engaged for about a year.  When wedding planning was becoming too complicated and frustrating, they said - "Let's just go do it in Vegas!" and started making plans in secret for their nuptials.  I'm crossing my fingers that it's safe to post this by now and that they've told everyone! They went to the Graceland Chapel for their ceremony and then met me for a quick photo session right after.  We first met in the Las Vegas Arts District.  I LOVE this location for photos because there are so many great graffiti walls everywhere, and it's usually pretty deserted so we had the area all to ourselves.

To switch it up a little bit, we then headed to Old Las Vegas for some photos under the Las Vegas lights at twilight.  Nicola and Thomas were greeted with cheers and congratulations while we made our way through the crowd!  I love some of the photos of their reactions to what people were saying to them along the way!

Here are some of my favorites from our time together on their wedding day!

> Las Vegas Engagement Photography

I was recently contacted by Justin about photographing his proposal to his girlfriend Renee!  He said that he wanted to propose to a girl who was impossible to surprise so he had to be really sneaky in order to surprise her.  We've been emailing back and forth for a few weeks talking about locations, a time to meet, and even sending each other photos so we would recognize each other!  So here's how it went:

Justin and Renee would be in the Wynn Atrium to check it out before heading out for a dinner reservation from a bogus Groupon that Justin had made (and even printed out)!  I would act as one of those annoying photographers that are everywhere in Vegas trying to take your photo.  I went up to them asking if they'd like their photo taken, we'd take a few photos and then I asked them to do a 'cute' pose.  That's when Justin gets down on one knee and proposes!  We took just a few photos after that, but here are the highlights!

> Wisconsin Engagement Photography

Hey Everyone! As you may know, I'm originally from Wisconsin.  Whenever I go home, I try to fit in a session whenever I can because I LOVE shooting in Wisconsin.  It has such a beautiful landscape and it's drastically different from Vegas, so it's always nice to change it up!

While I was in Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago for my Bridal Shower, I met up with Reed and Jen for an engagement session.  I went to High School with Reed so we've known each other for many years!  He's been with Jen for a few years now and the are getting married in Mexico in October.  Eric and I are going to their wedding which should be like a 2nd honeymoon for us!  ::yay::  I'm extremely happy for them.  Reed is definitely marrying an awesome girl.

Me, Reed, Jen, and their dog Darwin went to Ledge Park in Horicon, WI for their engagement session.  It's an amazing park with a ledge (for which it's aptly named) looking out on the famed Horicon marsh.  Definitely a cool place for photos with lots of trails and beautiful scenery.  Here are some of my favorites from their session!

That's all!  Since this was my 2nd blog of the day, I'm all blogged out!  Off to enjoy my Saturday night:)

If you'd like to see their entire album, you can check it out here.
